We are excited to annouce that Trium Environmental Inc. has been awarded the status of a Qualified Remediation Contractor in the Yukon Territory by the Yukon Government and under the Engineers Yukon body.
Remediating contaminated sites in cold climate poses many challenges, such as low temperatures, frozed soils, limited accessibility, and short seasons. These factors can affect the performance and feasibility of conventional remediation technologies, such as bioremedatio, chemical oxidation, soil washing, etc.. That is why Trium Environmental has developed and integrated unique remediation strategies that are tailored to the specific conditions and needs of cold climate regions. We use a combination of enginerring, scientific, and operational expertise to design and implament solutions that are cost-effective, sustainable, and environmentally sound.
The Yukon is a land of rugged mountains, high plateaus, and rich mineral resources, but also a land of environmental and cultural heritage that needs to be protected and restored. We are proud to be a part of the Yukon. We are confident that our expertise in cold climate remediation sets the pace for reclamation and restoration of land in cold climate regions without difficulties.
We are happy to mark our 18th year in the environmental industry, providing remediation solutions and building a community of environmental stewards with dedication to a sustainable future. As we carved our niche in the industry, the subsequent years were marked by significant expansion and innovation such as international growth, technological research and development, and building a world class multidisciplinary team.
From our early days in 2006, embarking on ambitious environmental consulting projects, to becoming leaders in soil and groundwater remediation, to breakibg barries and exploring new grounds globally, our path has been nothing short of extraordinary. Our achievements are not just memories, but a testament to the dedication, innovation, and hard work that have been the cornerstone of our growth.
Thank you for being a huge part of this journey.
In the field of environmental remediation, current trends in aerobic and anaerobic processes demonstrate both innovative approaches and evolving challenges.
Aerobic Remediation methods remain the primary approach in many engineering projects, particularly for dealing with petroleum hydrocarbons and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). One of the key advantages of aerobic remediation is its effectiveness in degrading contaminants in less extreme site conditions.
Anaerobic Remediation Developments: Although less commonly used than aerobic methods in practice, anaerobic remediation is showing great potential today, particularly for the treatment of certain types of groundwater contamination. For example, in Cases of groundwater contaminated by halogenated hydrocarbons, a combination of biological nutrition agent and pH control agents is applied.
This demonstrates the importance of tailoring remediation strategies to specific environmental conditions such as high salinity or low pH, which can hinder microbial activity and that is why at Trium Environmental, we encourage clients to subscribe to our Remediation Train ® Approach which ensures that the most favourable remediation technologies are implemented.
